Kids 10 years and above……………..$150 monthly *CVA and Oasis approved community base instructor

 

Classes start in September thru June – bring helmet, watch and apples

Wednesday - 12:00 to 3:00

Thursday - advanced class – 12:00 to 3:00

Friday - 12:00 to 3:00

Saturday - 11:00 to 1:00 * can ride longer if horses are available

Sign up for one class per week and additional classes if horses are available.

 

This will include:

• Basic horsemanship/Care of the horse
• Trail riding
• Arena skills/ Reining patterns
• Gaming/Barrel racing *Also have Bambi’s racing club at additional cost
• Goat tying / Roping
• Jumping/Cross Country *Also have private instruction with Michelle for additional cost
• Year end Rodeo and cross country Jumping

We also teach relationship training and life skills thru horses.

Jr. homeschoolers Kids under 10 years old -Fridays 10:30 to noon - starts September 23rd
6 week session $150 - Fall and Spring sessions * may need to provide a walker for lead line

Christian Relationship Training/Life-skill Training Through Horses - ( this is not the CVA or Oasis class)

Students are exposed to a role reversal with horses, the rider is the parent and the horse is the child. This allows them to learn about loving relationships as is illustrated in the Bible. Bible teachings and lessons are correlated to riding. For example, parent or rider must correct or teach discipline, and must love and take care of the child or horse simultaneously. We also teach life skills that they can take into the world- being on time, communication skill, relationship structure, a job well done, accepting correction and manners and common courtesies.

Kids will have independent time with the horse.

They must be able to work independently.

Each student will need:

Watch
Helmet (Bike helmets are ok)
Apples and/or Carrots
